USA, Presidential One Dollar Program.

USA have in 2007 started a new and exciting coinseries, which will be issued in 11 years. This series will be honoring all the states presidents. Each year 4 coins will be issued, presenting the presidents in the row they served as president. For 2007 the following four will be presented: President Washington, Adams, Jefferson and Madison. All the coins will have the same reverse and bear a likeness to the Statue of Liberty. 

These coins are special as they are bigger than previous, on the rim they will in addition to year of issue, the "E Pluribus Unum" and "In God We Trust" ant the mintmark.

Diam. 26,5mm, weight: 8,1 grams. the composition of the coin is a core of pure copper with a layer of manganese brass  (,770 copper, ,070 manganese and ,040 nickel). 
The coins will be issued by "P" Philaselphia, "D" Denver og "S" San Francisco (proof)
