The 2007 Proofset is issued to celebrate the 80th Birthday of Pope Benedikt XVI. The eight Euro coins depicting on the obverse a portrait of the Pope surrounded by 12 stars of the European Flag. Additionally here is a silver medal featuring the Papal arms on one side and a portrait of Evangelist St. Mark on the other. The coins are struck in Proof quality and housed in a luxurious dark blue leather case and accompanied by the Certificat of Autenticity.
