This set includes the entire Finnish 2009 Euro coinage, and a mint medal in the series "Finnish Lighthouses"

In the middle of the Åland Sea, divided by the border between Finland and Sweden, lies the small and low island of Märket. The rocky isle was a threat to shipping, and a lighthous was built there of chunky stines in 1885. Lighthouse keepers lived on the barren isle til 1976, after which the lighthouse was automated.

The Finnish Lighthouse Assocoation has commenced the restoration of the valuable lighthouse building.
