The Almas - in a lenticular Photo Picture
The Almas is a "bigfoot-like" creature, a crossing between a human and an ape, who is supposed to be domiciled in Mongolia. It is said that the Almas are able to reach a hight of about two meters and have eye-catching long arms. The lore says that the Almas are very shy, nocturnal and are very fast. These are the reasons why they are very rarely sighted. We have sighted him on our coin. The Almas coin presents a special feature. It has lenticular imiges, which artfully produce the effect of an animation. With a glance through the binocular and a horizontal fluctuation of the coin one can discover the Almas. Can YOU also see him?
