EURO, Slovenia is the first country for the 10 new EU members
As the first of the 10 new EU members, Slovenia has now, from 1st January 2007, changed to EURO. The old currenct (Tolar) will be in use until 14th January and until 1st March 2007, the people of Slovenia will be able to exchange their Tolat into Euro. After this date the Tolar is history.
