When the Euro was introduced to the EU countries, Denmark, Sweden and England decided to stick to their old monetary system instead of joining the common EU currency.
Later the so called Euro-pattern sets were introduced for these three countries. The new Patter coinsets became very popular and soon simulat sets were distributed for most of the European countries and additional to some other countries which are connected to European countries.
