Charles Schulz’s classic ‘Peanuts’ comic strip was first printed in October 1950. One of the world’s most popular and longest-running cartoon strips, it is filled with familiar faces such as Charlie Brown and his dog, Snoopy.Now, ‘Peanuts’ is being honoured on its 60th anniversary with a special commemorative coin from the British Virgin Islands. The coin depicts a beloved image that every ‘Peanuts’ fan will want to own: Snoopy laying on the roof of his doghouse with his friend Woodstock perched on his feet. The coin (CuNi coloured, diam: 36 mm) is delivered in a spesial designed box together with a Snoopy figure.
