NORGES BANK decided in 2003 to issue a commemorative coin program in connection with the 100 years jubilee since disruption of the union between Norway and Sweden. Mintage were 10.000 of each gold coin and 65.000 of each silver coin. The first issue wwas released 27. November 2003.
The coin issuing program will be over 3 years with an issue of 1 silver and 1 gold coin each year in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
