The souvenirset of 2008 is dedicated to Eidsvoll, the birthplace for the Norwegian Constitution as well as an important place due to its geographical position by the lake Mjøsa and Vorma. A natural stop for the Pilgrims to Nidaros (Trondheim), a harbour for the steamers on Mjøsa as well as final station for the first Norwegian railroad built in 1854 as for todays "Gardemobanen" to (the train to Oslo Airport).
This years set contains the ordinary 5 coins in circulation with pictures and text in Norwegian and English.
