The Construction and Labour Camp no. 30 was established in Lübeck 21st November 1940 for Polish prisoners.
The battalion was moved to Sagen, Alta (in Norway) the winter 41/42 and later to Beisfjord, Narvik in November 1944.
The battalion had 32 subdevisions in Norway with approx. 1600 polish prisoners.

With this note follows a postcard written 26.7.42 from prisoner no. 2502 from this battalion, Feldpost-Nr. 32 117-A/B
