50 Riksdaler 1695 - NORWAY - Thor Møhlen, no. 292a, without talon.
This is one of the first notes issued in Norway, by Jørgen thor Møhlen. These notes was put into circulation without talon. The talon, the right side of the note was kept in the bank for control (to prevent forgery) when redeeming the note. The talon had also all signatures and serial no.
A total of 500 notes were issued, but only 100 notes were put into circulation. The note is uniface, but have handwritten no. and value on back.
