The Norwegian Government in exile in London during the war started in 1941 the planning of exchanging the current notes in use before and during the war and in 1942 a series of very nice notes were printed in London. Later the planning of an invation and recapture of Norway resulted in a new issue of notes in 1944. These notes have the word "Krigsseddel" ("Warnote") printed. A more detailed description of these notes are to be found in Kolbjørn Skaares books "The Norwegian Coin History", unfortunately only in Norwegian.
All these issues are listed with pictures and prices in the catalogue "Norwegian Banknotes"
